Supporting Schools with Sustainability
ur sustainability CPD equips schools with practical strategies to embed environmental responsibility across the curriculum and school culture. Led by an experienced sustainability educator, these sessions provide staff with the knowledge, confidence and ideas to inspire pupils, support whole-school change, and explore practical approaches to renewable energy and decarbonisation within the school environment. This includes helping schools understand how renewable technologies can support both sustainability goals and long-term cost savings. Together, these sessions help schools meet the Department for Education's sustainability expectations.

Our sustainability CPD is led by Simon Lightman, an award-winning educator and specialist in sustainability and environmental education. Simon has extensive experience helping schools embed sustainability through whole-school approaches, climate education and systems thinking. His work bridges research, policy and practice, enabling schools to develop meaningful, long-term strategies that prepare young people to thrive in a changing world.
